Yes, I'm going to a relient k concert in december!!! I couldn't be more excited :D
Some other people from school like Ashlen, Nicolette, and Kelsey will hopefully be coming as well.
I've been having these really weird dreams. Last night, in my dream, I was with the Polks/ at their house, and there were aliens in these little spaceships, and it actually kinda seemed like we might've been at our house because that's just what I'm remembering right now. Also, the house had big windows, and for some reason, we had to stay away from the windows as much as possible, otherwise the aliens would be able to shoot lasers at us through them. I remember it kind of being like a nightmare because I didn't enjoy it at all, and it felt like I was the main character of this thriller movie. Not fun.
Also, for some reason, I remember talking to Ike in my dream, but it was a totally different one than the alien one. Weird. And two nights ago both Ike and Ryan were talking to me and being really nice. Gah, I have the strangest dreams...
My throat has been hurting all day, and it started yesterday. It's pretty much the worst, and I don't think this chocolate ice cream is helping. Maybe it's because on Saturday, for no reason, I woke up sore and not feeling well at all, and then later in the day, I discovered that I had a fever. I only figured this out because my mom felt my face and said that I was burning up, even though I was wearing a sweatshirt, gloves, and under about 3 blankets because I felt so cold. I pretty much just watched Jimmy Fallon and old (2002-2003) SNL episodes all day while eating toast and soup. Meh. I still felt terrible. After a shower, I felt better, and Sunday morning, I woke up feeling like a totally new person. It was the strangest thing, but now I can't help but feel as if something from that is back. Maybe not the fever, just this sore throat part. I almost just wrote party. Not cool. I wouldn't want to go to a sore throat party. Woooooooooow I'm tired...I woke up at 7 this morning, which does not make my body happy, even though I went to bed at a very early 11:30 at night. It took me at least 5-10 minutes to actually get up, but I set my clock ahead approximately 6 minutes just for that reason. Sometimes I freak myself out, but then I realize that I still have a few minutes, which is nice.
Tomorrow I won't have to wake up till 7:50-ish. Yes :)
Today was just boring in general. I don't really know why. Maybe it was the weather, which was gloomy, kinda rainy, and kinda warm (50 degrees). I got to school at 8, which is when bio lab is, so I walked in ten minutes late, but it didn't really matter, because, as per usual, my teacher hadn't even started yet. I have a knack of getting to class right before she actually starts lecture or whatever. But anyway, today we pretty much just watched a video for like 45 minutes, which was boring, and did some other stuff. As usual, we ended at 9:30, even though the class says it goes till 10:30 or whatever. Such a waste of time. Nobody even stays past 9:30, so we could totally not even start until 9, and that would save me about an hour of sleep.
Well, since I didn't have class till 1, I hung out with Ashlen in Bakuzio's (the cafe at school), along with some other people. it pretty much the same routine every day; I have break at either 9 or 10:30, I go to Bakuzio's, find people to hang out with till one, have lunch, etc. Usually it's pretty fun, but today, for some reason, it just dragged on and on and on, and I kept on looking at my watch, thinking, It's only 11:30?! or whatever. Sigh. It wouldn't be so bad if we actually had good wifi in the cafe. The router is somewhere in the student center, but I don't really know where. I wish they had one just for the cafe, because it's pretty much impossible to watch anything on youtube, much less Netflix. Even playing games or going on any website, for that matter, is super-slow and it pisses all of us off. That's my one complaint about the cafe. Otherwise, I think it's a pretty cool place. Better than the study pub, which, even though it got renovated, is still super creepy and filled with either weirdos, or people that have Magic tournaments. Or both.
After my extremely long break, I have my Photography 111 class. I usually don't mind it, but today was boring for no apparent reason. It was critique day, as are most Tuesdays. The assignment was high and low color contrast. Not too difficult. Anyway, there's about 20+ people in this class, I would guess, and there were at least 2 photos per person, and we had to go through and critique all of them. Yes, it is as boring as it sounds. It takes almost the whole class time (two hours) to go through them all. I took a break for myself in the middle to go to the bathroom and grab a Snickers bar. So that's pretty much why it was boring today.
I'm really hoping that my teacher will hold off our next assignment, which is when we come up with an idea for our photo. I have ideas, just not the time nor the camera to actually do this photo. If it's due on Tuesday, then I'm screwed. I don't know what I'm going to do. Rachel is the only person that can help me, so I know that I'd work with her, I just don't know when. And if it is due on Tuesday, the only day to print is on Thursday, and I definitely don't have time to do this photo tomorrow. Sigh.
Well tomorrow will probably be better. I dunno. Sometimes math can kinda be fun, but that's only because Chris is in it. Gosh, if he wasn't in it, that would be the worst class ever.
Ramble, ramble, ramble. I'm so tired X(
I think I'll take a shower and go to bed soon. Maybe go to bed at a decent time.
P.S.
I'm way to obsessed with watching videos on the internet, like Collegehumor, Toby Turner, Julian Smith, and Smosh. I love them all, and there's way too many for me to stop watching. I've watched all of Julian's videos, and most of Smosh and Toby's videos. I'm nowhere near watching all of Collegehumor's videos, but I'm almost done with their Jake and Amir video series, which go back all the way to 2007, with about 10 videos per month. I have noooooooo life.
My other favorite collegehumor series? VeryMaryKate. If you haven't seen it, basically one of the actors at CH impersonating Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen. High-larious.

Relient K Christmas show
I'm bad at blogging. Oh well.
Let's see...what's happened since my last post? It was my birthday! That was fun. I actually saw more people on the day before my birthday than on my actual birthday...my awesome friends at school threw me a surprise party...at school! It was pretty great. For my party, we did the scavenger hunt thing, which was really fun, and all my friends got along, even the new ones, which was awesome, and I got Toy Story 3, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Where The Wild Things Are, a Batman coloring book, crayons, an Owl City shirt, and a lot of other stuff for presents, which were all awesome :)
Oh, two weekends ago, I went to a concert at the Crofoot in Pontiac. The bands were Allstar Weekend, Stephen Jerzak (love!), The Action Item, and The Scene Asthetic. Ok so I know you've never heard of them, unless I told you about how awesome the concert was. My favorite was Stephen, who sounds like NeverShoutNever and Owl City mixed together, sorta. Anyway, he's like 18 and super adorable and I love his voice, and you could tell he loved to perform and everything. He was only an opener for Allstar Weekend, though, and they were pretty good. It's basically four guys that are 20 or younger and they used to be on Disney or something, so I guess that's just what it reminds me of. I can't think of any band that I know of that sounds like them. But anyway, they're all pretty much really hot. Haha. After the show, we got to meet all of them and get pictures, which was really awesome. If you see my facebook right now, my profile picture is me with Zach, my favorite from Allstar Weekend :D
Anyway, Ashlen and I stood in line for like 2 or 3 hours and still got a pretty good spot, since it was general admission.
Last weekend, Gloria and I went to Clinton theater to see Megamind, which was really funny! If you haven't seen it, I definitely suggest that you go. Also, if you haven't been to Clinton theater, you should definitely consider going. It's a small one-screen theater that is family-owned and the best part is that tickets are only 3 dollars! The movies are usually only about a week old, so I check on their website every couple of weeks to see what new movie they're playing.
Anyway, megamind was really awesome, mostly because the voice actors were hilarious. Will Ferrell, Tina Fey, Jonah Hill, Brad Pitt, and David Cross were the main characters. Also, it was Dreamworks so the storyline was great and it was just funny overall. I liked how they took a cliche storyline and changed it all around, it kept you interested. So anyway, go see it! I still have yet to see Due Date and 127 Hours. I think I'll go to the State theater soon to see 127 Hours because for some reason it's not playing in regular theaters like Quality 16.
So today was pretty much the best day of my life. I was on facebook and one of the advertisements on the side of the screen said that Relient K was playing in Pontiac. At the Crofoot. Where Ashlen and I had JUST SEEN Allstar Weekend. I almost screamed and clicked on it. This almost seemed too good to be true, but just 20 minutes ago, I bought the tickets online, and they'll arrive in the mail soon! I told Ashlen and Kelsey and Nicolette, and I think they're all gonna come. It's in December and I couldn't be happier! They have openers, but I don't know who they are. Not that it matters. I'M GOING TO SEE RELIENT K IN CONCERT!!! That's all that I care about right now. For the rest of the school day I was as happy as I have been in a long time.
I think I'm gonna get in line at 2pm because the show starts at 7...call me crazy. Or dedicated. I like to just think of it as a little of both. I need to be in the front so that I can touch them. Maybe I'll bring a collapsible chair so that we don't have to stand in line for five hours...and some games or something to entertain us. The only problem is, it'll probably be cold. Blankets? Yeah...
Also, my parents said that I can probably just drive myself to the theater, it's like an hour away from my house. I guess I might be giving people rides, but nobody really lives that close to me. So I don't really know what's gonna happen. But I do know that it's gonna be awesome.
I guess it's their "acoustic Christmas" show or something, so that'll be fun.
I literally cannot think about anything else right now, it's just so exciting!!!
Tomorrow I'm hanging out with Kelsey at the mall and at my house, I think...today was my only day of school this week. I love Thanksgiving break :)
Only three and a half weeks until I see you in person, Relient K. I love you with all my heart. :)

Oh wow...I haven't written for a while. I kinda forgot about this blog :3
Well, let's see. The last time I wrote was in August or September or whatever, right? Not a whole lot has happened. I'm doing super-well in my photography class and everyone always loves my photos, so that's pretty great. I'm doing ok in everything else, I think. I mean, hey...it's school.
Last weekend was my dad's birthday, and he wanted to go to Arcadia, apparently, but he said that on our way up there, we could go to Great Wolf Lodge and bring a friend with. So I brought my friend from school, Ashlen and we had an awesome time :)
It mostly consisted of rating the life guards and going on the water slides a million times...Oh Jim, we miss you. And the Mike Posner look-alike. Sigh. After Great Wolf Lodge, we went to downtown Traverse City and looked in the little shops, which was fun, and it was raining. Then we went to Arcadia and walked around a little, but it was still raining and there was a wedding going on, so we couldn't really do anything. After a while, we went into town and played Dorkball and fooseball and pingpong and some community building or something...that was fun. Ashlen and I watched 40-year-old virgin because we love Steve Carell, but we watched it in the coach house, which didn't have the heat on, so by the time that we were done, I couldn't feel my nose because it was about to freeze off. When we went into the cottage, we watched some Toby Turner on youtube and The Stepfather on Netflix. (good movie, check it out). That was all the interesting stuff about the weekend.
It's weird...it's been 3 months since Arcadia/Jon happened and I still think about it a lot. Not like, you know, sad, just...remembering, I guess. Meh. I need a boyfriend...
It's officially one week till my birthday! I'm so excited :) next friday is my party, and we're gonna do a bunch of stuff, like a scavenger hunt, a bonfire, maybe a pinata, and a dance party!!!
Yeah.
I wanna go to Bubble Island for my birthday...I love it there so much.
Chris and I are married, if you didn't know. We're going trick or treating together as PB&J..I'm jelly :)
Oh, Kelsey might be coming too.
Last night, St. Luke had a halloween party, and I helped with the pumpkin-decorating stand. There was this little girl that wanted to decorate a pumpkin, so I helped her. She was pretty much the cutest person I've ever met and I want her as my child. Or I could just offer my babysitting skills to her parents...which is what I did. So we'll see what happens.
Hmm...what else? Right now, I'm in the middle of Donnie Darko, since I've never seen it. It's on Netflix. I guess I kinda like it so far, I just don't like the bunny Frank. Ugh, his face...creeps me out.
OOOOOh my gosh. There's this STUPID little fruit fly thing that has been in my room for DAYS even though the door has been open and he's just too stupid to leave. Every time he flies by, I clap my hands by him like an idiot, trying to kill the dumb thing. He had a friend, which I already killed, but this one is tricky. I'll get it eventually.
Well, I don't know what else to say. I'm not gonna lie, I can't wait to get presents next week for my birthday. I'm really excited for Christmas. HMMMMMMMMMMM uhhh I'm gonna go watch The Office, which is on soon. And it's the Halloween episode, of course, which is always awesome. Yup yup.
ok

oh, yeah, bt-dubs, wimp.com is an AWESOME website. Seriously. It's like youtube except that there's almost no lame videos, they're all either educational in a way, just plain funny, or they make you go "what?!". So yeah, go there. New videos every day.
Back to youtube, search Very Mary Kate. Spoof on Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen. Hilarious. My favorites are about the cat.
yup that's pretty much it.
I am no longer hungry. I had a brownie.

oh hey there
I decided to do another post...after a few months. Oh well.
my summer has been crazy busy. Immediately after school was over, we left for Arcadia to be there for a week. I was up there with Blaire and Alli as usual, along with my new friend Elizabeth, Jon and Mark. We had a grand old time. They're my wolf pack. (yes, like from the Hangover)
anywho, long story short, Jon and I sorta maybe had a summer fling. That was interesting. And a good experience? Haha...uhm. Yes.
I say it like that because I really think that he's just a manwhore/a player because supposedly he had had a girlfriend, broke up with her in June, then was at camp, then at the end of August, had another relationship. Then I found out a couple of days ago that he was single again. That's what...three weeks, at the most. Who does that kind of thing?
So I've had my first stupid relationship of my life. And my first kiss. Yes. I know, shocking. Obviously, I won't tell you all about it. That would be weird. But I thought he was really nice to me, but who knows? I mean, he must have liked me, otherwise why would he kiss me? That's just stupid.
After that week, our youth group left for New Orleans for NYG (national youth gathering). We drove. For hours. For a whole day. Leaving at 7 in the morning.
We took two cars, one van and one jeep. I went with Mitch, Susie and Sam in the Jeep (clearly the best decision) and everyone else was in the van with Byron. The people that went were Elena, Adalie, me, Josh, Nick, Cam, Mitch, Byron, Susie, and Sam. So we drove till about 11 at night, stayed in a shady motel in Mississippi (someone had written on our door "Ghetto"), and watched Ferris Bueller on tv. Good memories. We left bright and early the next day, after discovering their "wide variety" of breakfast foods...take your pick from moldy bagels or cheap waffles. Yumm.
Again, we drove more and more...anyway, I won't describe it all, but eventually we got to New Orleans that day, checked in, etc...the actual Gathering started the next day. The whole thing was pretty much awesome. Oh, Jon and Mark went to NYG, too, so I got to see them.
After NYG, I went back to Arcadia, mostly just hangin' with Elizabeth and Chloe...then in August, I did In His Service (St. Luke's mission trip in Ypsi area). It's always super fun and we play lots of cut throat mafia late at night.
After that, we left for Arcadia again (I know, I know), I hung out with Chloe again, mostly and Madeline, and after a week, I worked in the kitchen for a week for end of season! yay! it was pretty much the best camp experience of my life. The kitchen is definitely the most fun. I got to be a server along with preparing the food, which everyone does. The only bad part was getting up at the crack of dawn. But I LOVE everyone on staff. They were great!
When I got back home, I basically had a week before school started again..which was the longest that I'd been home all summer. Told you I was busy. I mostly hung out with people as much as I could while I was still free and whatever...then I started school on August 30th. I like my classes so far. I have Bio, Math 169 and Photography 111. In my bio class, I know Rachel, Anna and Erika, and we help each other out and have fun, I'm glad I took that class with friends. In my math class, I only know Chris, but he's pretty much my bestie, and we have a great time...mostly passing notes about how easy the class is. It's like a review for algebra. Goodness. And I LOVE my photography class, of course. It's great, even though I don't know anyone. It's mostly awesome because you can rent out the nice cameras (Canon Rebels) from the school for free and basically the class is just learning how to use SLR cameras, which is great, because I had no idea how.
So...that's pretty much my life right now. My favorite shows are premiering this week for the fall season, which is always the best. These shows are : Community, The Office, Outsourced, and Saturday Night Live, all on NBC. Weird. I think I'll probably also watch Fringe (on FOX), the show that no one's ever heard of. I'm debating on whether or not I'll watch Glee. That show just got ridiculous, but I feel like I'll probably get pulled into it one way or another. You know what show I wish was still on tv? Arrested Development. That show is genius.
I have an 8 am bio lab tomorrow, so I have to get up extra early. Shoot me now.
But I don't have school on Thursday mornings or Fridays at all, so that's a huge bonus. I have a long weekend every week. It's great!
yeah so...bye
I'm hungry

I'm hungry

I used to be love drunk
I'm SO BORED....
not a whole lot has happened this week...the most fun was on Tuesday, I went to the IT meeting at church, and I was planning on going to Top of the Park to see Princess Bride. After the IT meeting, James, Susie, Mitch and I just kind of hung out and none of us had had dinner, so we decided to go to Noodles & Co for dinner...it was fun :)
James and Susie are dating! woo!
Mitch didn't have a ride, so I took him back to our house because Kaitlyn was going, too and so was my mom, so my mom just drove us all in one car. We invited Susie, so she just met us there at like 9:30. Elena got there right before it started (at 10). Since we got there early, we had front-row seats in the chair section, and the blanket people were in front of us. Kaitlyn hadn't even seen Princess Bride yet, but she loved it. I've seen it a hundred times and I think it's a great movie. We ate popcorn and cotton candy and had a great time...but I didn't go to bed until 1 am :3
Consequently, Wednesday morning, I didn't hear my alarm go off, so I didn't wake up till 9, which is when my class starts. I got to school just before 10, and it wasn't too bad, because I got caught up and it wasn't that big of a deal. Yeah then I had school...blah and then at 7 was bible study at Byron's house. That was really fun. We split up into two groups, and I went in the basement with Rick, Alaine, Mac, Blake, Eliana, and Adalie. We pretty much just told stories and laughed the whole time (in between bible verses). After we had finished bible study, we usually walk over to Steak N' Shake. We started to, but then the tornado warning went off, so we had to head back into his basement until all the parents came. I left after some people had gone and the clouds had started to get really dark and the sky was starting to rumble and flash with lightening. I hate driving in storms, it freaks me out, so I was scare the whole way home, and then it started to pour. When I got home, I didn't really know what to do, so I just watched The Office in the dark living room, while the storm raged outside. I like thunderstorms...when I can watch them from inside. We lost power for about 30 seconds, but that was about it.
Thursday...I was planning on starting my paper for English class, but I didn't get to it, because the Contis came over, so I went swimming with them and Joel till lunchtime, and then Rachel came over, and we decided to do a photoshoot because...she has a cool camera, I guess. It was fun. Then at 2:30, I had to leave to get my haircut because I hadn't gotten it cut for about 5 months, and my hair grows really fast. It was starting to get boring and needed a trim, so I did that and also got layers. I like it a lot better now.
My parents and Joel left this morning for Chicago for the weekend, so once again, I'm alone. I had class this morning, then I was hungry so I went to McDonald's and got a cheeseburger, fries and their new frozen strawberry lemonade (<3) to go and ate at home while watching tv. Ah, to be free :)
After a while, I worked on my paper, which took about 20 minutes. It had to be an explanatory narrative essay, so like I had to explain how to do something by telling a story that's entertaining, so I told a story about giving Delilah a bath this one time...oh, memories...
and now I'm bored out of my brains
I have to wait until 5 to go to Kaitlyn's birthday party...but I still gotta pack. Apparently we're going mini-putting and watching movies and stuff and sleeping over. Tomorrow, I'm gonna go to IT and then...I don't really know, and then I'm spending the night at the Polk's house!!! :3
and we're gonna watch the Dark Knight and P.S. I love you and have a grand time. And maybe drink hot kool aid.
Ok that's all I have

there's so much left of it, what am I gonna do with all this hot kool aid?!
This weekend was AMAZING. Seriously, it was so much fun :D
on friday after class, we (courtney, michael and my mom and I) left to go to Arcadia for the weekend. Also, Joel had been at 8th grade week, so we had to pick him up on Saturday. We brought Michael to surprise Joel.
So we drove up, stopped at Wendy's and got to the cottage at around 5pm. Courtney and I decided to go to Weihrman beach and take a walk because of the long drive and I took my camera. After our walk, we had dinner at the cottage and decided to go to the drive-in theater in Honor, Mich to see Toy Story 3. Man, is that an intense movie! It was really good. If you've never been to a drive-in theater, you should try to go. They're really fun.
After we got back, Courtney and I went up to the coach house, which is where we were staying and watched tv and old home videos of me up at the cottage till 2 in the morning. Ah, the 90's. Such style.
On saturday, we woke up at 10, or rather, we were yelled at to get up. We walked around for a while and had lunch. After that, we went to south bluff. It was really fun and we ran down and then walked all the way back on the shore back to camp. Usually, it takes about two hours, but somehow we got back in one. It got kind of cloudy and cold at the end, so maybe we just hurried. We got back at around four and took showers and decided to have lunch at the new restaurant that used to be the Apple. When we went in, it was very crowded and noisy. We were seated but didn't get a server for at least five minutes. I decided on a pulled pork sandwhich, courtney and joel had pizza, michael had chicken wings, and mom had a chicken burrito. All the food except for the pizza was "okay", but not great. My sandwhich tasted sorta funny and it wasn't even really pulled pork, just chunks of it.
After that, we played games and watched tv until Evan Park came and told my mom that he and Matt needed a place to stay for the night, so they stayed in the basement. When he left, he said that he and all the other teens were playing a big game of hide and seek, so Courtney and I joined him. We didn't know where to hide, so we just waited until the next round, but apparently everyone had already been playing for a while, so they decided to stop. It was a big group of kids, probably about 20 of them. I saw a lot of people that I hadn't seen for a while and had a good time.
When courtney and I got back, we watched some of Disturbia on tv. It was super creepy because Shia Lebeuf thinks that his neighbor is a murder and stuff and so he spies on him and also this other girl that he has a crush on with his binoculars and it's really weird...we didn't watch the whole movie.
uhh oh Sunday we woke up at around nine and went to church at ten...then we went to the park and went on the merry-go-round for a while and just hung out. A little bit after 11:30, the Emington's got to our cottage to be up for the day (they live like an hour and half away) so we had burgers and hot dogs and sloppy joe for lunch. Then we wen to camp and played tennis and four square and shuffle board and then decided to go swimming and play on the new island that camp has. Everyone was there...everyone being the Emington's - 1 : Josh, Stephanie, Sarah, Liza, and the Mr. and Mrs. Then Courtney, Michael, Joel and I. Most of us played in the water for a while by the island and played freeze tag and bulldog. Then we just sat and tanned for a while...or in our cases, burned, because we didn't wear sunscreen... :3
Theeeen it was like 4pm, so we had to leave at 5 to get home at a reasonable hour so we didn't have time for showers. On the way back, I was shaking my head the whole time, getting sand out :P
We watched Ocean's eleven on the little dvd players in the car and played games and whatnot. Then we stopped at KFC and had wonderful, fattening food. A large bucket of chicken wings and thieghs, (sp?!) a huge cup of pink lemonade, mashed potatoes, and corn.
